GMVoice policies overview

At GM Voice, we believe great vocal training happens best in an environment that is safe, supportive, professional and welcoming.

Our policies are designed to protect our students, families and staff, while ensuring lessons run smoothly and fairly for everyone.

Safeguarding Your Child

Your child’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priority.

  • We follow UK safeguarding legislation and Musicians’ Union guidance

  • Safeguarding applies to all lessons, group sessions, performances and online teaching

  • Clear professional boundaries are maintained at all times

If you ever have a concern, please speak to George or Lani. You can also seek independent advice from the NSPCC Helpline (0808 800 5000).

Lessons & Supervision

  • Lessons are available year‑round with rolling availability

  • Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed with George

  • Parents are welcome to observe lessons for under 18s

  • Under 18s must be dropped off and collected on site

​

Cancellations & Attendance

Lesson times are reserved especially for you.

  • We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule

  • Late cancellations or non‑attendance are charged at the full session rate

  • This policy follows Musicians’ Union professional guidance

​

Payments

  • Lessons must be paid for in line with GM Voice payment terms

  • Accounts overdue by 7 days or more may incur late payment fees

  • Sessions linked to overdue accounts may be released for rebooking

​

Location & Parking

GM Voice  in-person lessons take place at The Hub., Abbey Complex, Meadow St, Nuneaton. CV11 5JF.

Parents and carers should use the free car park on Meadow Street when attending lessons. Please do not park outside the HUB building. We only have 2 spaces (between 10 teachers) so please keep them free for staff that might be leaving late at night. 

The other spaces are designated to JVS and residents.
