Georgie Mason
A message from George
Singing has been my passion since I was a very small child, I would sing at every opportunity, but, bar one early Panto appearance, I didn't pluck up the courage to sing in front of other people (on purpose) until I was 35 years old.
The pivotal moment came when I persuaded my two children to take part in a local show, telling them that they would love it and not to be nervous. I asked myself, if they could do it, why couldn't I?
Shortly after, I began my own singing lessons and the rest is history. Over the last 7 years I have studied Musical Theatre and Rock and Pop. I have lapped up every training course and opportunity I have been offered and have performed in places I never thought possible, even on the infamous London Palladium stage in front of thousands of people.
I continue to develop my professional skills and qualifications wherever possible, so that I can pass on the best and most up to date information to my students and attend CPD courses at The Royal Academy, London, regularly.
I am now on the Estill Master Trainer Pathway, studying under and mentored by the esteemed Anne-Marie Speed and I am on track to be the first and only Estill Master Trainer in the Midlands!
I wish I had found the confidence to start this journey many years ago, but I am true testament to the statement 'It's never too late'.
I pride myself on my ability to connect with people of all ages and abilities and hope that I can instill my love of music and singing and the confidence to 'sing like no-one is listening' in all my pupils, whatever their starting point.
I have a working history in the Safeguarding arena and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
We’d love to hear from you!
